Hypsoé has made home scents in France for more than 25 years: its perfumes come from Grasse and its candles are poured with the know-how of French wax makers. The shell is turned by French artisans from a single block of solid beech grown in sustainably managed French forests: a rounded base that rises into a slight cone, like the foot of a flame. Inside sits a 200 g Hypsoé candle in its tin; when it is finished, a refill in any scent slips into the same shell.

Candle: 200 g, about 40 hours of burning; the refill is 8 cm high, 6.8 cm across
