Privacy policy

Esotico Lifestyle (“esotico”, “we”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.

What we collect. When you order, sign up for emails or write to us: your name, email, shipping and billing addresses, your phone number if you give it, and your order details. Payments are handled by Stripe and PayPal, and we never see or store your full card number.

How we use it. To process and ship your order, send order and shipping updates, answer your messages, prevent fraud and meet legal and tax obligations. We send our newsletter only if you opt in.

Who we share it with. Only the services that run the store for us: Squarespace (website and checkout), Stripe and PayPal (payments), Canada Post and other carriers (delivery), tawk.to (the chat window, when you write to us there) and our email provider. They use it only to provide their service. We never sell your personal information.

Cookies. Essential cookies run the cart, the checkout and the chat window. Analytics and marketing cookies are used only if you accept them in the cookie banner, and you can change your choice at any time under Cookie Preferences.

Do Not Track. Our site doesn’t respond to browser Do Not Track signals; you choose which cookies run in Cookie Preferences.

Emails. Marketing emails go only to people who agreed to receive them, and every one has an unsubscribe link.

Where it’s stored. Our service providers may store information outside Canada, where it may be subject to local law.

How we protect it. Payments are handled by Stripe and PayPal on secure, encrypted pages, and access to your order details is limited to the people who run esotico.

How long we keep it. Only as long as needed for these purposes and for our legal and tax records.

Your choices. You can ask to see, correct or delete your personal information, or withdraw your consent, by writing to hello@esotico.ca. We reply within 30 days.

Questions and complaints. Esotico Lifestyle is responsible for your personal information; write to our privacy contact at hello@esotico.ca. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada at priv.gc.ca.

Changes. When this policy changes, we update this page and its date.
