Candles that stand as pieces of décor
Baobab Collection was born in 2002, inspired by the landscapes of Africa, and its candles and diffusers are dreamed up in Belgium. It was the first luxury house to make big candles in a wide range of colours and finishes, turning a scented candle into a decorative piece.
Each one is made by hand in Europe. The glass is hand-blown by artisans in Poland, the fragrances are developed by perfumers in Grasse and the wicks are Egyptian cotton. The wax is poured by hand in several stages, and every label and ribbon is placed by hand.
Baobab Collection also works with a cooperative of women in Madagascar who crochet the raffia designs that dress some of its candles.
