Five ways to style a valet tray

A valet tray is small enough to go anywhere and finished enough to be noticed. Ethnicraft’s glass trays carry hand-designed patterns under the glass, so each one reads like a small framed picture.

1. In the entry

Set one on the console by the door for keys, a watch and whatever you empty from your pockets. It keeps the console tidy and gives the hallway a point of colour.

2. In the bathroom

Rings, earrings and a bottle of perfume look deliberate on a tray instead of scattered on the counter.

3. On the coffee table

Pair a tray with a small candle, such as a My First Baobab, and a box of matches. The tray frames them and catches any wax.

4. On the bedside

Glasses, a ring and a book light at the end of the day, gathered in one place you can find in the dark.

5. On the desk

Pens, a card holder and a phone. A tray turns a pile into an arrangement.

Caring for it

Dust it with a soft dry cloth and wipe a spill straight away with a damp cloth. The trays are made for indoor use.

Choosing yours

The valet trays come round, rectangular and as a pair of half-moons, in bronze, blush, slate, moss and more. Upload a photo of the spot and we suggest the one that suits it.
